Breaking through the career plateau

You should work on your visibility within the organization when you want recognition. Actively communicate your wins with your supervisors. Keep a detailed record of your professional achievements and share your contribution with your team during weekly progress meetings.

Lack of advancement opportunities

Professionals feel stuck in their careers when organizations only offer lateral career opportunities. If your organization does not have a clear path of upward mobility, you will be stuck in similar roles for a long time. Talk to your superiors about your desire for career advancement. Educate yourself on the qualifications you must possess to be considered for a promotion.

Burnout

Work-related stress, overtime, can lead to burnout in individuals. If you are constantly feeling stressed and exhausted from your work, you might be experiencing burnout. Burnout is not something that must be taken lightly. Neither should you waste time addressing it. Talk to your manager about your problem and discuss what changes can be made to the workload to make things easier for you. You should also prioritize self-care and take some time for yourself when you are feeling burnt out.

Lack of career development
